I learned how to carve and make block prints in January of 2021, and since then I've become obsessed. I draw all of my designs on Procreate first, then I copy them to my lino block(s), carve, and print! I learned to silkscreen in college and set up a temporary silkscreen studio in my garage after I graduated. This means I can't use photo emulsion (or I haven't figured it out yet) and have to paint on my design by hand using screen filler. Tedious and time consuming, but I love it! This is how I made the tote bag you see in the gallery.
